Iowa Select Farms gives back on National Ag Day

IOWA FALLS — Iowa Select Farms celebrated Iowa’s farmers by stocking the freezer at the West Fork Food Pantry in Sheffield with 600 pounds of ground pork on March 23, National Ag Day. The stop was one of nine that Iowa Select Farms made around north central Iowa to donate 4,280 pounds — enough meat for 17,120 pork burgers. “As farmers, we are honored to put delicious food on Iowans’ tables,” said Jen Sorenson, Communications Director for Iowa Select Farms.
