THORNTON — Approval of the contract for the City’s Water Main Project highlighted the July 6 meeting of the Thornton City Council.
Jason Petersburg, Project Engineer of Veenstra & Kimm Inc., of Mason City, and Chris Diggins, Local Assistance Director of the North Iowa Area Council of Governments (NIACOG), were on hand to present final details of the contract.
Mayor Mike Jensen opened the public hearing on the plans, specifications, estimate of cost and form of contract for the project.
